Welcome to the Saint Petersburg Parents Of Twins and Supertwins Home Page. Many people ask, what is a Supertwin? Well, a Supertwin has nothing to do with the size of a twin but rather the amount of babies born at any one time. In this case Supertwin refers to more than two babies born at the time of birth, otherwise known as triplets, quads or quints.

The Saint Petersburg Parents of Twins and Supertwins club, or SPPOTS for short, is a networked organization of parents of multiple birth children. The club was started in the 60's and its membership is continuously growing to this day with over 40 families. The club's purpose is to bring support to those who are due to give birth to multiple children, and who are in need of advice from experienced parents in many aspects of caring for multiples from premature birth to older siblings.
